CEDR Speaks to Outgoing CPR President and CEO Noah Hanft

While in London recently for CPR's 2019 European Conference, produced in collaboration with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in the London offices of Swiss Re, Noah sat down for a conversation with CEDR's Principal Consultant and Mediator, Andy Rogers, in which he discussed the development and potential of mediation.

Noting the natural inclination to fight, and the possible initial impulse of in-house counsel to take some things personally -- only to likely end up settling years later -- Noah suggests the time and money that could be saved, disputes possibly even prevented and important business relationships preserved with a more thoughtful approach, involving a neutral, early on in the matter.
