CPR Begins Its Slate of Global Events to Support the Dispute Prevention and Resolution Community
September 9, 2020
All events will be open to the broader community to further CPR’s purpose of helping others manage conflict to enable their purpose
New York – The International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), a global non-profit organization that advances dispute prevention and resolution, is set to begin its annual series of international events. In light of the current public health circumstances, all of these events will be conducted remotely with the help of Arbitration Place, Canada’s premier arbitration center, also providing support for remote dispute resolution. All events will be open to the public and offered to the community with no registration fee.
“These events—including our European, Canadian and Latin American Conferences on Dispute Resolution Management—provide annual opportunities for our global community to convene, network and develop the innovations and tools that support dispute prevention and resolution,” explained CPR President & CEO, Allen Waxman. “While the pandemic may not allow us to meet in person this year, we are grateful to Arbitration Place for providing the technology and know-how to enable us to maintain the kind of engagement that characterizes our events. More than ever, we need to remain connected as a dispute prevention and resolution community. Consequently, with the support of our sponsors, we are opening these events to the broader community, and without registration fees. I am looking forward to collaborating together with our longstanding constituents and new faces, alike, at this series of gatherings.”
