Business Litigation Reporter

In its March 2018 issue, Goodwin reported on the addition of new CPR rules governing emergency requests for interim relief.

As Goodwin explains, the addition of these new rules, and recent court decision in their wake, "have raised important issues."

Emergency requests for interim relief were just one of many updates included in CPR's 2018 revision of its Rules for Non-Administered Arbitration of Domestic and International Disputes. Other key updates included the GAR-Innovation-Award-nominated "Young Lawyer" Rule, as well as new sections addressing cyber issues in ADR; multi-party proceedings; joinder and consolidation; and intervention when there is a disagreement over arbitrator compensation.
